North Carolina Agri-Women & The Center for Food Integrity present "Engage Training" March 19th 8:30 am - 5:00 pm The Harrill Center * NC State Fairgrounds * Raleigh, NC
Consumers are asking more questions than ever before about their food. The conversation today is less about “What’s for dinner?” and more about “Should I be feeding this to my family?” and “Can I trust that it was produced responsibly?” Answering these ethical questions with facts won’t get us very far...communicating with values will. That’s where Engage training comes in.
NCAW is excited to partner with The Center for Food Integrity to bring Engage training to Raleigh, equipping participants with the tools to effectively communicate using shared values in “critical conversations" - those day-to-day conversations that present valuable opportunities to effectively connect and ultimately build trust.
Participants will spend the day learning valuable communication skills and networking with other NC women in agriculture. The day will conclude with a brief NCAW meeting where we will elect officers for the new year. Lunch is provided.
